A LEGENDARY RUM SETS SAIL: THE RUM OF THE ANCIENT MARINER
Adding to the now globally available range of Trooper beers and Darkest Red wine, Iron Maiden are setting a bold new course into the world of dark spirits with The Rum of the Ancient Mariner.
Inspired by the epic narrative of Rime of the Ancient Mariner - a cornerstone of heavy metal storytelling taken from the band's 1984 Powerslave album - the rum pays homage to timeless artistry and bold craftsmanship. Its label, designed by long time band collaborator Dan Mumford, is a visual journey filled with intricate details that reveal themselves the longer you look, echoing both the band's own lyrics and the inspiration they found in Samuel Taylor Coleridge's famous 1798 poem.
This Premium Caribbean Dark Rum is a blend of spirits from Jamaica and Barbados, matured in wooden vats using the traditional Petites Eaux technique. The result is a smooth, complex character at 40% ABV, layered to emulate the finest musical compositions. Best enjoyed neat after dinner or savoured slowly, it’s a drink for those who appreciate depth and nuance.
